*(The Pivot Questionnaire: the 10 questions made famous by James Lipton, who asked every guest at the end of "Inside the Actor's Studio" show.) **And I may have added a few of my own questions.
Question 1: What is your favorite word?
Amuck. I love saying it over and over, real fast. Amuck,Amuck,Amuck. Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious is a close second. 
Question 2: What is your least favorite word?
Can’t. It is such a disempowering word. Granted there are many other vile words out there, ones I will never use, but this one I dislike...a lot. 
A Random Shadow Question: What question have you always wished you knew the answer to?
Actually, I have the answer, and I'd really like to know the question. The answer of course is 42. Or how many licks does it take to get to the center of a tootsie pop? Hell, I don't know. Why did I ask this question? 
Question 3: What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally?
Connecting with the universal story. The hero's journey, dark's relationship to light, symbology, archetypes, images and tales of old, all of these do it for me. And clever word play, especially nonsense literature. Love, love, love it. It's like a second language to me. 
Question 4: What turns you off?
Meanness and cruelty. Anything that is said or done purely to hurt or bring another down. We create our own monsters by being monsters to others. Kindness is not a weakness, people, it’s a power, a super power. Okay enough said, onto the next question. 
Question 5: What is your favorite curse word?
Fudge. "Only I don't say "Fudge." I say THE word, the big one, the queen-mother of dirty words, the "F-dash-dash-dash" word!" - a bastardized Ralphie quote from The Christmas Story . Yup, I’m a big fan of the F word. And, oh hey look, it rhymes with Amuck. Bonus. 
The Next Random Shadow Question: If you could choose to have any supernatural power, what would it be?
Teleportation would be cool. I'd never have to worry about traffic or the cost of gas or airfare again. I would have most of my bucket list knocked out in a day. I wouldn't mind being Immortal either, in case that was up for grabs. |
Question 6: What sound or noise do you love?
My children’s laughter. And my cat's purr. 
Question 7: What sound or noise do you hate?
My inner critic/s There's nothing worse than the noise in side my own head. It's not like I can stick in a pair of ear plugs to block out the static. It's inside my own freakin' head! I also hate the sound of cats fighting, or the sound of any animal in pain, but mostly cats fighting. 
Last Random Shadow Question: What three tangible things should one always have?
A flashlight, cookies, and a parachute... And an umbrella but then that would be four things. Oh and a good book. I guess I should have made that the top five things. 
Question 8: What profession other than your own would you like to
attempt?
Something bad ass, with lots of jujitsu, guns and world travel, though a viper pilot on the Battlestar Galactica would be cool. Okay, so I'm probably not cut out for any of that. Maybe, a code breaking, computer hacking type of profession, like Arrow's Felicity Smoak, but then only if my boss were Oliver Queen. Just saying. Honestly, I haven't given any serious thought to anything beyond a creative career. 
Question 9: What profession would you not like to do?
Hmm...Nothing too bad ass, because I'm kind of a wuss. Definitely not any profession that is monotonous or causes me to miss the use of my brain. I'm also not a big fan of noxious odors or early mornings. Yeah, not feeling “that” profession. 
Question 10: If Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates?
Great timing, I was about to go feed the unicorns, you want to come help? Ha, ha. No seriously, I'd like to hear her say, "Go ahead and take that long overdue nap, but don’t get too comfortable, because I’m sending you back."
